Product description
Organic vegetable glycerine from linseed is a versatile humectant for cosmetic formulations. The palm-oil-free glycerine is obtained from European organic linseed and is suitable for a variety of skin care, cleansing and hair care concepts.
It is produced by splitting organic linseed oil into fatty acids and glycerine. The glycerine is then purified by physical processes using temperature and pressure. The result is a syrupy, odourless and colourless liquid.
In cosmetic formulations, glycerine is used as a humectant. It can be incorporated into aqueous systems, emulsions and cleansing products and is typically used at concentrations of 2 to 10%. Glycerine is also frequently used in hair care formulations and can help to adjust the consistency of various formulation types.
The product is suitable for moisturising care, cleansing products, hair care formulations, deodorants and other cosmetic applications.
