Sacha Inchi Oil cold-pressed, organic

Organic cold-pressed sacha inchi oil is a distinctive speciality oil with a high proportion of polyunsaturated fatty acids. The yellow oil has a subtle, nutty natural odour and is notable in particular for its high content of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) and linoleic acid (omega-6).

The oil is obtained by gentle cold pressing of the seeds of the sacha inchi plant. Because it is not refined, the oil retains its characteristic colour and subtle, nutty natural odour.

From a formulation perspective, the fatty acid profile is shaped mainly by alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid, complemented by oleic acid. Sacha inchi oil is also characterised by a high natural tocopherol content, which contributes to the stability of the oil. This profile makes it a versatile building block for cosmetic oil phases, oil blends and emulsions.

The product is suitable for facial and body oils, serums, creams and emulsions and other cosmetic formulations.
