Product description

Organic refined rapeseed oil is a sensorially understated base oil for cosmetic formulations. The pale oil has only a slight natural odour and is suitable for formulations in which the base oil should have as little influence as possible on fragrance and sensory profile.

The rapeseed oil is refined, which reduces its colour and natural odour compared with the cold-pressed grade. This allows the oil to be integrated flexibly into different fragrance and formulation concepts.

From a formulation perspective, the fatty acid profile is shaped in particular by oleic acid, complemented by linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). This fatty acid profile makes rapeseed oil a versatile building block for cosmetic oil phases, oil blends and emulsions. Its understated sensory profile allows flexibility in designing the fragrance and product concept.

The product is suitable for creams and lotions, body and massage oils, bath oils, soaps and other cosmetic formulations. Rapeseed oil is also available as a cold-pressed organic grade.

Virtually neutral in odour and taste; physical refining in line with the EU organic regulation – well suited to formulations.

Refined oil is virtually odourless and tasteless, making it highly suitable for formulations in organic and natural cosmetics. Refined organic oils are produced by mechanical pressing followed by physical refining. Only processing aids approved under the EU organic regulation are used.
