Organic cold-pressed milk thistle seed oil is a light plant oil for cosmetic formulations. The yellow oil is characterised by a subtle, fruity natural odour and its high linoleic acid content. It is suitable for a range of skin and hair care formulations that call for a light oil phase.

The oil is obtained by gentle cold pressing of milk thistle seeds. Because it is not refined, the oil retains its characteristic colour and subtle natural odour.

From a formulation perspective, milk thistle seed oil is characterised in particular by its high proportion of linoleic acid, complemented by oleic and palmitic acid as well as vitamin E. This profile makes it a versatile building block for cosmetic oil phases. It can be used neat, in oil blends or as a component of emulsions.

The product is suitable for facial and body oils, creams and lotions, massage oils and hair care formulations.
